Understanding the teleprompter window

CueCam’s teleprompter window is designed to be used with a connected teleprompter device like an Elgato Prompter, or a Glide Gear teleprompter with a Liliput monitor or iPad running Duet.

Once set up correctly, a teleprompter will appear to your Mac as an extra display. displays

Alternative sources

If you want to use this window for your remote video calls, you can select your Zoom, Teams or Meet window from the selector at the top. share-zoom

Alternatively you can use the “Transparent Window” option. The teleprompter window always stays on top of other windows so this way you can drag any other windows you need onto your teleprompter and keep the CueCan’s HUD on top of everything else. Here it is dragged on top of Ecamm Live’s Program window. transparent
